U.S. Crane, Inc. offers comprehensive OSHA and preventative maintenance inspection programs for your overhead cranes and material handling equipment. Allow us to to help reduce costly downtime and protect your equipment from any excessive wear to ensure the safety of your employees. Our service technicians and inspectors check critical electrical, mechanical and structural components for safety and properly operating conditions. As well as being trained to make sure you are in compliance with all standards and regulations. We offer these inspections monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Inspection Frequencies

OSHA, ASME, and CMAA overhead crane inspection standards require three different types of inspections throughout the life of your crane equipment:

Initial Inspection – Any new, reinstalled, altered, repaired, and modified crane shall be inspected before the initial use.

Frequent Inspection – A frequent inspection is a visual and operational inspection performed monthly or even as often as daily. Inspection frequency is based on the following factors, service, environmental, and application factors, as designated by a qualified (competent) person.

Periodic Inspection – A periodic inspection is a detailed visual and operational inspection where individual components are examined to determine their condition. Inspection frequency can be quarterly to annually and is based on the following factors, service, environmental, and application factors, as designated by a qualified (competent) person.
